In this opening session, Andrew Whitmire, DI alumnus and Director of Growth & Impact, will first tell the story of Destination Imagination, from its humble beginnings as a spark in the minds of a small group of dedicated founders to its meteoric rise to a globally recognized educational organization. Then, all conference attendees will be led through an interactive activity that allows them to tell their individual stories of DI impact. Finally, each conference attendee will take their stories and share them with other attendees that they do not know in order to connect, share and grow.
