It says that registration fees are Pay-What-You-Can. Really? If I contribute money, what does that go towards?
Yes, really, you only have to pay what you are able to - even if that amount is $0. We hope this fee structure makes the event accessible to as many of our volunteers as possible. If you decide to make a contribution to IGNITE, any funds will help cover event expenses, and any additional proceeds will go towards supporting the mission of Destination Imagination.
Why are some of the pages on this website password protected?
Select information is only available to registered event attendees. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the password you will need for complete site access. If you have any trouble finding your confirmation email, contact us at volunteer@dihq.org.
What should I do if I’m interested in a presentation, but I can’t attend live?
No problem! All of our presentations will be recorded, and made available on the Recordings page of the event site. All attendees will have access to all of the recordings.
Can I attend a presentation even if it's not for volunteers in my role?
Sure!

What time is the session I want to attend?
Please see our Complete Event Schedule for a listing of dates/times for all event presentations. Please note this schedule is listed in Eastern time.
What should I do if I’m interested in a presentation, but I can’t attend live?
No problem! All of our presentations will be recorded, and made available on the Recordings page of the event site. All attendees will have access to all of the recordings.
Where can I find recordings/slide decks for each presentation?
The Recordings page of the event site will include each presentation’s recording, as well as any resources shared by that speaker. Depending on the presentation, this can include the slide deck, worksheets, and other downloads provided by the speaker. This page will be updated throughout the event as we receive more materials.
What kind of technology should I use during IGNITE?
You’ll want to use a device with a high-speed internet connection. Many past attendees reported they had a better listening experience while using headphones.
If you will be participating in an interactive session, we’d recommend utilizing a device that has a camera and microphone to enable you to participate.
